Dale was born with a steering wheel in his hand as the family ran a trucking business. At a young age he was put to work after school sweeping the floor in the warehouse or driving one of the forklifts. He couldn’t wait to get his Class One licence and get onto the road. Dale started out driving his father’s rigs, and while he enjoyed that, he wanted something more. He went back to business school and received his business diploma, an accomplishment that provided him the foundation to embark on his own business venture. He first owned and managed his own trucks, and then helped run Coastal Pacific Xpress, growing the business there.
In 2002 Dale branched out on his own to start BlueChip Logistics. Under his direction BlueChip has grown to become one of the leading 3PL companies in North America. Dale has great vision on how to build a company focusing on people and culture first. Dale has been profiled in business papers and recognized as a Business in Vancouver 40 under 40 recipient. He is dedicated to volunteering in the community and been recognized for his vision. Dale is a founding member of a Vancouver-based CEO Forum group and a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization).

After starting his career in finance, Eric quickly found out his true passion was working in operations. He enjoyed the diversity of people, equipment, processes in getting the job done. With a business partner Eric built up a group of transportation and logistics companies achieving over $100 million in revenue with over 500 employees. They were instrumental in starting up Van Isle Barge Service as an operating partner, and grew the capacity and volume of this business with contracts to service local and multi-national retailers, industrial companies and manufacturers.
The company was ultimately acquired by one of the largest marine services companies in North America. Eric was involved in the merger of another division of his company with Coastal Pacific Xpress where BlueChip Logistics was operating. He joined the BlueChip group in 2009 as he shared a common vision of a people first company. Eric strongly believes that getting the right people and investing in your people is what will get you exceptional results for your customers.
